Love Locket is part of the "Love Makes the World Go Round" series. As one of the larger pieces Muriel Joseph George created, she stands 9" tall and is in excellent condition. The bottom is incised with Josef Originals and has the oval, black Japan label. There is also the word "sweetheart" written on the bottom, from a previous owner. I did not try to remove the writing. There are five other pieces in this series and all are desirable in the collector's market These pieces are all valued at $165-180 in pristine/excellent condition as quoted in the 2008 edition of Josef Originals Revised and Expanded 3rd Edition on page 73.
